Cookie Policy
Version 2026-07-21 · Effective June 22, 2026
This policy explains how eVotaré uses cookies and similar technologies on evotare.com. Today we use strictly-necessary cookies only. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can be "strictly necessary" (required for the site to function and for security), or "optional" (analytics, personalization, advertising). Optional cookies require your consent before they may be set.
2. Cookies we use today
All of the cookies below are strictly necessary and cannot be switched off:
- Session cookie (
voteplatform_session) — keeps you signed in during a visit. - Remember-me cookies (
vp_remand the voter remember-me cookie) — keep you signed in across visits when you choose "remember me". Rotated on each use. - Cookie-consent record (
evotare_cookie_consent) — remembers that you have seen and acknowledged this notice, and the policy version you acknowledged, so we do not show the banner on every page. It is anonymous and stored only in your browser.
3. Cookie categories
We structure cookies into the categories below. Only the first is in use today; the others are listed so this policy stays accurate the moment any optional cookie is introduced.
- Strictly necessary — always on; required for sign-in, security, and this consent record.
- Analytics — not currently used. If added, they will not be set unless you opt in.
- Marketing — not currently used. If added, they will not be set unless you opt in.
4. Your choices
Because every cookie we set today is strictly necessary, there is nothing to switch off — the notice simply confirms you have been informed. If we later introduce optional cookies, this page will describe them and offer controls to accept or decline each category, and no optional cookie will be set until you opt in. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break sign-in.
5. Changes
We may update this policy and will post changes here with a new version and effective date. When the version changes, the notice banner will appear again so you can review the update.
